Brief description of main deliverables/outputs:
Ensured Livelihood restoration, skill development training and providing post-training entrepreneurship support, business linkage, promoting support for wage and self-employment employment support mentorship program, business counselling, women empowerment and economic engagement support for 3948 affected populations and 63% of the women beneficiaries;

Actual Services provided by SAMAHAR:

  • Review approach and beneficiary criteria adopted under the project and design instrument for beneficiary listing and methods of their scrutiny, sorting and selection inclusive of all social groups and vulnerabilities
  • Review all Relevant Project Data and Baseline Data on existing livelihood pattern and opportunities
  • Conduct household survey using the survey instrument provided by the MIS cell and survey will be conducted electronically using Tab
  • Design and Carry Out Training Need Assessment Survey
  • Identify different groups and implement the skill and social development program
  • Setup the training center with all facilities with furniture, fixture, training equipment etc.
  • Implementation of skills and social development program
  • Collecting labor market information and using it to identify the relevant pathway for social development and employment for targeted beneficiaries.
  • Design and implementing the stakeholder engagement and social inclusion strategy
  • Conduct training on social norm and gender-sensitization.
  • Designing skills development for social development and employment pathways.
  • Organize Coordination Committee meeting and present a summary of the beneficiary selection process and the potential beneficiary list.
  • Conduct training on social norm and gender-sensitization the training contents
  • Conduct training in low to mid-level skills to prepare them for work or entrepreneurial support in becoming a micro-enterprise
  • Prepare survey report focusing on major trades, prospects and job opportunities
  • Conduct assessment and issue of certificates for completion of Skills
  • Integrated approach at the local levels integrated with master communication strategy
  • Identify eligible beneficiaries for enterprise development.
  • Create platform to facilitate job placement/ skill development / business facilitation through networking and market development considering global job/business demands.
  • Ensure job placement, entrepreneurship, business linkage (Self/wage employment) of trainees.
  • Development of user-friendly Menu-driven software for monitoring progress
  • Support to PMU for project monitoring, evaluation and validation activities which will be conducted by the MIS Cell
