Project Background: Develop competency-based learning materials (CBLMs) for selected 21 occupations, prioritizing demand from sectors and outline systematic for developing CBLMs for listed following occupations 1. Production Planning and Supply Chain Management (RMG & textile Sector) 2. Painting for Construction (Construction Sector) 3. Mobile Phone Servicing (Light Engineering Sector) 4. Welding (Light Engineering Sector) 5. Programmable Logic Controller (Light Engineering Sector) 6. Refrigerator and Air Conditioning (Light Engineering Sector) 7. Beautification (Informal Sector) 8. Web Application Development with Python (ICT Sector) 9. Tailoring and Dressmaking (Informal Sector) 10. Housekeeping (Tourism and Hospitality Sector) 11. Al Immersive Technology (ICT Sector) 12. Dementia Caregiving (Informal Sector) 13. Welding (Light Engineering Sector), 14. Make up Art (Informal Sector) 15. Bakery and Pastry Production (Toruism and Hospitality Sector) 18. Reservation and Ticketing (Toruism and Hospitality Sector) 20. Safety management (RMG, Construction, Textile Sector) and 21. Accounting and Freelancing (ICT Sector). Total 101 CBLM was development by the assignment.
Actual Services provided by SAMAHAR:
- Review the provided list for CBLM Development.
- Need Based Trade selection with special attention
- Prepare Gantt chart for work load distribution with deliverables among writers and editors.
- Emphasizes the importance of language, content, presentation, and consistency in the content and include images, graphs, charts, and other author’s writings or images with proper permission.
- Include self-check and answer keys for self-assessment, job sheets, activity sheets, and job specification sheets
- Organize meetings on identified potential trades for their verification and endorsement of the trade selection written in Bangla and English
- Consult with NSDA as and when necessary.
- Organize trade validation workshops with respective stakeholders
- Organize trade dissemination workshops with respective stakeholders Employers
- Input the final trade list into the portal
- Prepare final CBLM and submit to NSDA.
